Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what Heeo Inc. does with your data when you talk with Ailee, an AI companion built and operated by Heeo. It’s separate from the privacy policy that covers Heeo’s content-creator accounts — talking to Ailee doesn’t create one of those, and this page is what applies to you as an Ailee fan.

2. Information we collect

• Google sign-in: Ailee only supports signing in with Google. We receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google; your account is kept separate from any Heeo creator account tied to the same Google login.
• Conversation content: what you say and type to Ailee during a call. Calls are transcribed and, after the call, a short list of a few plain facts (for example your name or something you mentioned) is extracted so Ailee can stay consistent in future conversations. We do not store facts we’d consider intimate or explicit in that memory summary.
• Call transcripts: we keep the transcript of what was said during a call so you can review your own history and so the memory summary above can be regenerated. You can permanently delete your conversation history and memory at any time from your account settings, which removes both.
• Voice and video: during a call, your microphone audio is streamed in real time to power the conversation and animate Ailee’s avatar. We do not record or store your camera or microphone feed as video/audio files — only the text transcript described above.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe; Heeo never sees or stores your card number.
• Usage and diagnostics: call length, credit balance, and, when something breaks, technical diagnostics so we can fix it.

3. How we use it

To run the conversation (send what you say to the AI models that power Ailee and play back her response), remember the few facts described above so she feels consistent across calls, process payments, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your conversations to train AI models without your explicit consent.

4. The AI models behind Ailee

Ailee’s conversation is driven by Google’s Gemini live models; her avatar and voice are rendered by Anam. What you say during a call is sent to these providers in real time to generate her responses and animate her. AI output can be wrong or unexpected. We do not use AI to make legally significant decisions about you. Questions about how a specific response was generated: support@heeo.io.

5. Who processes your data

We work with a small number of trusted service providers to run Ailee — for things like hosting, payments, and analytics — and we choose providers who protect your data under their own privacy and security commitments. We don’t sell your data to anyone.

6. Cookies

Ailee uses an essential session cookie, separate from Heeo’s own product cookie, to keep you signed in, plus the analytics/diagnostic storage described above. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.

7. Retention and deletion

Your data is stored encrypted and kept while your account is active. You can clear your conversation history and memory at any time, and you can delete your account entirely, both from your account settings; account deletion removes your profile, credit balance, and conversation data. Content already processed by a third-party AI provider during a live call is governed by that provider’s own retention policy.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including GDPR Articles 15–22 for EU/UK, and state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA for California residents), you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Email support@heeo.io with the subject “Privacy request”; we respond to verified requests within 30 days. EU/UK users may also complain to their local data-protection authority.

9. International transfers

Our processors are primarily in the United States. Where EU/UK personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

10. Age

Ailee is only for adults 18 and older (see the Terms of Service, Section 3) and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete the associated data.
